Synonyms have long been a debated topic in search engine optimization. Many people have wondered, “Should you use Synonyms for SEO?” Matt Cutts from Google has just released a video stating that you should use synonyms to improve SEO. He reveals that Google has an entire team dedicated to matching synonyms. When addressing this question, Cutts says, that this a good idea because it reinforces the relevance of the page. However, when using synonyms for SEO you should not be spammy, mention them unnaturally or overall do anything out of context.
