California-based Justin Boatman is a force to be reckoned with in the marketing industry.

A strategic communicator, Boatman is the SVP of Marketing at Riskalyze, where he has built a strong marketing team for a successful company.

A graduate of William Jessup University, he also holds his M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University.

Prior to joining the Riskalyze team, Boatman served as a Pastor at Bayside Church, where he was in charge of programs and media.

Working here for 7 years, Justin spent time as the College Program Director, in the Communications and Media department, and as a Campus Pastor.

Regardless of where Boatman is working, he is a dedicated and successful storyteller and marketer, as well as a knowledgeable mentor to the members of his team.

Riskalyze’s Team Leader

Based in the Sacramento, California area, Riskalyze is an investment firm like no other. They are on a customer-centric mission to make investing more attainable. Through their Risk Number® strategy, they empower anyone to become a fearless investor.

His genius and expertise doesn’t stop at his work product. He has also dedicated time and energy to building the Riskalyze marketing team.

His team is built on the belief that Riskalyze can be both successful for their clients and for their team members.

He has personally mentored dozens of marketing professionals as they start their careers and can often be found leading educational sessions on advisor branding or mentoring in his office. His team now serves tens of thousands of advisors.

Boatman’s knowledge and ability to understand and evolve the company’s message have driven billions of dollars in trading in just a few short months.

Combatting COVID – 19 Virtually

When the Covid-19 pandemic caused Riskalyze to cancel their Fearless Investing Summit, Boatman took the opportunity to pivot to an all-virtual Fearless Week.

Thanks to his time working at a California megachurch, Boatman knew just how to make the audio and visual both entertaining, educational, and engaging.

His quick thinking was a success. The week-long virtual summit had over 3,000 attendees and inspired the Wealthmanagement.com article, Are In-Person Advisor Conferences Doomed?.

In addition to creating a successful virtual conference from scratch, Boatman also spent over 18 months overseeing the launch of Riskalyze’s all-new trading platform, Individual Security Analysis, and the many feature updates that have happened since the roll-out. This user-friendly platform makes it easier for Riskalyze’s clients to feel empowered to invest.

Boatman also spearheaded the creation of an interactive advisor marketing resource called Volatility Resource Kit for Advisors. This marketing resource aims to help advisors better explain the story of volatility and how it affects their clients’ investments.

It is especially appealing to advisors because it has customizable tools such as a client-facing video builder, posters, brochures, press releases, slideshows, social media image generators, and best-practice guides that help to brand each advisor and customize their marketing materials.

Wrapping It Up

Boatman’s ability to envision and execute new techniques, platforms, materials, and systems makes him a powerful force in the tech space. He thinks well outside the box and will lead to innovative solutions across the industry for years to come.
