Getting your website in Google can be tough if you are trying to rank for competitive keywords. There are two main components to get your website in Google. They are onsite optimization and offsite optimization. In this post we will talk about tips for getting your website in Google both from an onsite optimization and offsite optimization perspective. Onsite Optimization Tips for Getting your Website in Google

In order to get your website listed in Google you need to add keywords to your website. But you cant just throw keywords on a page, there needs to be a method to your optimization. First, pick the keywords you want each page to rank for. Next, make sure those keywords are added to the following areas.

If you make sure that your keywords are added in each of these areas without being too over the top you will rank well in Google. This is only the first step to getting a website listed in Google. Also, it is important to note that there are many important things you need to do to add keywords to these areas properly. Furthermore, there are advanced SEO strategies that can relate to getting certain types of websites in Google, this depends on how they are coded.

Offsite Optimization Tips for Getting your Website Listed in Google

Offsite optimization is when you build links from other websites to your website. Google will rank your website higher if you have more links pointing at your website with the correct anchor text. Anchor text is a term which refers to the text that is linked to your website. So if someone links to Ignite Visibility with the term “San Diego SEO company” then “San Diego SEO company” would be the anchor text.

When engaging in offsite optimization try to build as many natural links as possible. Google has recently started getting website owners in trouble who try to purchase links. Never pay for a link and make sure the links that you do get come from authoritative websites in your industry.

Link building or offsite optimization has become an industry in it’s own. Social media is an important component in this, as it gives website owners the tools needed to promote their content and build more links. All of this helps websites get ranked in Google.
