Ignite recently had the opportunity to work with a longstanding client as they attempted a new goal: breaking into a new country.
By the end of the year, that client’s traffic had increased over 600%.
Here’s how we did it.
Goals
At the beginning of the year, we set KPIs to grow keywords in the top 3 positions by 15%, as well as increase the number of new users from organic search visiting the new site.
To hit those KPIs, we put a program in place for the following:
- Provide a go-to market strategy for the new Indian market
- Put in place new and innovative dynamic optimization templates for the categories and storefronts
- Increase content production by over 100%
- Increase outreach for by 50%
- Create hyper-local content and voice search ready content
- Improve technical errors impacting crawl budget
Results
The results were best in class.
From June 1, 2018, to March 31, 2019, we saw the following.
The number of keywords in the top 3 positions in Google USA grew from 156 to 1,076
The number of keywords in the top 3 positions in Google grew from 52 to 860.
New users increased 638.79%, and transactions increased by 409%.
How We Did It
In this initiative, Ignite Visibility worked closely with the client to create a custom link outreach strategy that secured approximately 5 to 10 links per month.
In addition, we produced a series of press releases, an industry study, and engaged in content marketing and large scale content production. We also took our learnings from previous successes to launch a website that is fully optimized for search. This included dynamic optimization for all the categories, topics and storefronts. This was a massive success for the company in the Indian market.
This India launch was perhaps the most successful new market launch we have ever seen. Not only was it international, but it was in a competitive market.
New users increased 638.79%, or from 32,000 a month to over 290,000 a month and transactions increased 409% from 2,016 to 10,276 all from organic SEO. Not only that, but Ignite Visibility was able to grow all other properties (other websites in other countries) substantially. These substantial increases show just how powerful a great SEO campaign can be,
