Merav received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communications, New Media, and Business Administration from The Interdisciplinary Center at IDC Herzliya, a private research college in Israel.
Merav moved to New York City to support her husband’s studies at Columbia University. Shortly after, she met Oren Saar, a fellow Israeli who missed the culinary culture of home.
In 2019, Merav and Oren founded WoodSpoon. The platform now hosts 120 chefs, who serve over 15,000 customers in the NYC metropolitan area.
