Wigs by Patti’s Pearls is a boutique website geared towards women with cancer as well as the hair challenged.
The Challenge
The client wanted to bring more exposure to the e-commerce business and expand their brand.
Additionally, the client wanted to recognize the beautiful women and raise awareness of hair loss and its affects. The Ignite team brainstormed a variety of ideas and identified that the product needed to be displayed in a meaningful and non-gimmicky way.
The Solution
Ignite Visibility compiled a Love is in the Hair Viral Campaign where 8 wigs were given to 8 different women. The women would try on a variety of wigs with the help from owner Patti Joyce, and candidly speak on how they lost their hair, but continue to survive and thrive.
A video was created for each wig recipient and an additional final video highlighted key moments from the women’s videos. We also continue to use the hashtag #loveisinthehair to generate more buzz.
The Result
The final video has become incredibly successful and garnered more than 13,395 views.
