WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
I am from right here in San Diego, CA.
WHERE DID YOU GO TO SCHOOL?
I went to school at Regis University in Denver, Colorado, and studied for a year at Griffith University on the Gold Coast of Australia. I majored in Marketing and Business Administration.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT ONLINE MARKETING?
Online marketing is constantly evolving. I really enjoy trying to keep up with the industry and constantly learning about the different marketing outlets and how to effectively use their platforms. It seems like every year there is a new social media platform that gets released, which makes online marketing a fun and evolving industry to work in.
TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR BACKGROUND IN THE INDUSTRY.
I am relatively new to the industry, having just graduated college a year ago. During my time at school I interned at two marketing agencies, one being online/social media and the other being print. Upon completing my internships, I quickly realized that I wanted to continue in the online/social media marketing industry, and am happy to have found a home here at Ignite where we are constantly on the forefront of social media marketing strategies.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT IGNITE?
I like how every day is different and there is always something new to learn or improve on. The industry is always changing which makes my job very enjoyable. I also like the comradery within the office— everyone works together towards a common goal, and that is to deliver results to our clients.
WHAT ARE SOME THINGS CLIENTS SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU?
That I am very easy going and I love seeing my clients succeed; it brings me great joy seeing those little social notifications that pop-up when we are running a successful campaign.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FOOD?
I would have to say my favorite food is seafood. My first job was as a line cook at a local fish and chips place, which evolved in to working as a fishmonger and eventually to being a banquet cook during the summers at a fish house in Denver. This summer career path has led me to love all things seafood related.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO FOR FUN?
In my free time, I like to stay very active and travel when I get the chance. On a typical weekend you can find me either surfing or snowboarding.
