Mission Fed is the largest, locally based financial institution exclusively serving San Diego County and is a part of a CO-OP network that offers its customers more than 30,000 fee-free ATMs nationwide. All San Diegans are welcome.
The client, Mission Fed, wanted to do a small-scale Facebook focused campaign to grow their presence on social media and get positive testimonials about the brand that didn’t just solicit for comments on their Facebook wall. They wanted to do a campaign around what was their customer’s ‘Mission Fed Moment’ and what made the credit union special to them. The contest also had to be limited to individuals who were Mission Fed customers.
Ignite helped created a unique platform using a third party application for individuals to submit their Mission Fed Moment on Facebook. Mission Fed offered a monetary award for the top 3 Mission Fed Moments. We also promoted the contest heavily through that month using boosted posts on Facebook, which led to more engagement and visibility.
- Mission Fed previously had 5,490 Likes on Facebook on June 30 and increased 20% as a result of the contest and ads, bringing them to a total of 6,440 likes on July 31.
